I followed Melissa's page on Facebook after my friend Claudia told me about the beautiful pictures she took of newborns.
She was right. I can’t remember a picture that attracted me to her work in particular because they were all beautiful and only made me want to book a session with her ASAP.
I was pregnant with my first baby therefore I wanted professional pictures to keep always.

As a new mom, everything was a concern, haha.
Melissa is a car seat technician so I asked for her advice.
One of the main things we talked to Melissa about was the importance of proper car seat use and position.
She actually proceeded to adjust Camila in her seat.
I’m thankful for that talk we had because although it may seem like you’re helping your baby by keeping it loose and comfortable it is only doing them a potential deadly harm.

The favorite part of our experience was: EVERYTHING! the patience Melissa had for my indecisiveness. lol.
I could not decide on colors or poses.
My absolute favorite was watching the Harry Potter set up she put for this Harry Potter fan!! I loved it.

I would recommend Melissa because she is the most patient photographer I have ever been around.
She took the time to help me decide on poses and explain everything she was going to do.
She was very patient with my baby who decided it was time to wake up.
Our session went over but not once did she mention it.

We decided to hang Camila's pictures in our living room.
Our family portrait is in the center, with all the rest of her pictures around it, where I can see and admire them everyday.
