A few months ago, I was asked to donate to a benefit supporting a local woman who passed from depression. I donated a newborn session with a small collection of images, and when this mom reached out to tell me she was the winner, I had no idea what her nursery looked like. They decided not to find out the gender, but they wanted something special for their walls. It was so fun to connect with them and create some special memories for their newest addition, DeLaney. When I asked her about the nursery, she said it was navy blues and kind of a moon and stars theme. I stopped right there and squealed with excitement, already knowing what I wanted to create for them.
